Does sharing a support code expose my API keys or message history?

Last updated on Oct 04, 2026

A support code is a reference for a support conversation, not an API credential or a grant of message-history access. It is not submitted automatically. Copy it and enter it manually only when you choose to share it with support.

Keep it out of public posts and unrelated messages, and send the relevant code through the support conversation. Never substitute an API key, sign-in code, or pairing code when someone asks for a support code. Support still follows the applicable account and data-access rules when investigating your request.
